HI-TECH Rockfall Construction has been working closely with CalTrans and Roger Brown Construction to complete slope stabilization work on a slide that happened on Hwy 96 in northern California last year. This very unstable slope has had many challenges as the slope is continuously moving and changing during construction. With the use of very specialized equipment (Spyder Backhoes) HI-TECH was able to re-shape the slope at the brow, making the slope safe for us to install anchors at the top to support a large wire mesh drapery system to protect the highway from falling rocks. The wire mesh drapery was installed using a helicopter in order to save time and money.
